Service with no smile and barking at a customer. That’s how I would sum Up my experience. I really hate writing negative reviews but in this instance it warrants it. After a wonderful long hike in the Alpujarra, we decided to stop off for drinks and an ice cream cone. For starters, the waitress never came out after 15 minutes to serve us so we went inside to order and ended up carrying our drinks back to the table outside. Relishing in the afterglow of our day, we opted for an ice cream cone. I went inside to see what flavours were available and explained I can’t speak Spanish. My husband then joined me and while his Spanish isn’t wonderful, he did ask what flavours were available and she quickly rambled them off seeming annoyed when we needed clarification. There was a flavour that interested me and when I asked for a small sample (which is very typical in ice cream parlours), she barked “only one sample”. So we went for the reliable choice - chocolate. In hindsight, I should’ve just rejected the idea of getting a cone and left. Overall, she was rude, cold and definitely put a bad taste in my mouth as we embarked on exploring the town. The store is located just as you enter the town and based on the negative reviews here and on Google, she’s not really doing her town any service. Bottom line, I am a polite tourist interested in Spain, the culture and the people and being barked at is something nobody deserves.. That’s how I would sum Up my experience. This place is a complete tourist trap. We ordered gazpacho and they brought us something different. The waiter told us it came with jamón serrano, but it didn’t. The menu said 3€ each, but we were charged 7€. On top of that, unlike every other bar in Granada, they never brought the free tapa that is supposed to be included. Service was also extremely slow. If you want a bad experience, this is the place to come.

WARNING! This is a tourist trap! It says €3 for Gazpacho, but they served a soup which is €7. They then did not serve any tapas which is completely expected in Granada. Avoid at all costs. Better places to get a drink. They took forever to serve the drinks and were rude.

We have been absolutely happy here. In all respects, food, service and price.

Fresh, well tasting draft. Cordial and attentive service.
12 Euro for a three course menu, one of the sausages a culinary delight. Excellent deserts.

What I found most endearing:
One group member didn't want to eat meat. The friendly staff inquired in the kitchen. Out came a trout, off menu for the price of the menu.
Another didn't fancy any if the deserts and got a sliced fruit instead, again off menu.

I recommend this place and thank you people again!

Rude staff, long waits for service, food was ok. Took forever to pay. Wouldn't go back - plenty of much nicer places available in the village, with much better service.

The negative Feedbacks here either address the wrong place or must be due to the attitude the people themselves had.

We've been here in May and in October 2022.
We had the same super friendly service by the same woman.
On both occasions we enjoyed a splendid three-course-meal with choice options for every course. Absolutely delicious and well prepared.
Draft beer.

I gave 5 stars to counterbalance the negative reports here, but actually it might well be "just" four, for one simple reason:
In October they close the restaurant already at around seven in the evening, like literally everything in Pampaneira except the Kiosk. We'd have loved to eat here in the evenings as well, with a decent ammount of beer ...

A super rude woman works there.
Older lady. She was pushy, had an attitude, was very rude and we left without ordering due to her behavior. Not recommend

I had a small smoothie that was naturally amazing! (Get the pun?) However, if you’re expecting to get a quick service, I wouldn’t recommend dining in. You’re in Spain!
