I cannot say enough good things about Pollman’s Bakery!!! They baked and decorated 3 cakes for our daughter’s wedding at the Battle House Hotel in Mobile: Brides cake, Grooms cake and Bridal Charm Pull cake. All 3 cakes were absolutely delicious and decorated perfectly!! Michelle helped us from start to finish in the most professional and pleasant way. From scheduling tastings, to helping us determine amounts of cake needed to helping us finalize the way we wanted our cakes decorated and flavors - she was with us every step of the way and made this such a pleasant and stress- free experience! Michelle is the best!! The staff at Pollmans also made our cakes with such expert skill - they made our fillings just as we asked and the traditional piping on our Brides Cake was perfection. Also, their fondant work for our Grooms cake (chef jacket) was perfection!! All of our wedding guests continue to ask me where the cakes were from- they could not get over how delicious and perfectly decorated they were!!! I have another daughter getting married in 2027….we live in Hattiesburg and we will be planning on ordering cakes and sending a driver to Mobile to pick them up for her wedding… that is just how good they are!! If I could give Michelle and the staff at Pollmans a 100 star review, I would!!! Outstanding!!!!!!

We want to thank Michelle and the employees for helping us with a last min 50th anniversary wedding cake for our mother and father ! We appreciate the extra mile Michelle went to try and replicate there wedding cake 50 years ago thank you again for getting this done on such a short time !

The team at Pollman’s really came through for me when my order was canceled by another baker the day of my daughter’s birthday event! I called Pollman’s and they immediately agreed to help and produced the perfect cake, exactly like what my daughter wanted! I can’t thank this staff enough and recommend them for all your bakery needs! I will absolutely be back!! Thanks again Pollmans!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE (especially when you have a special event coming up) they completely lost our order and didn’t acknowledge the fact that we had the receipt and email confirmation. They weren’t even urgent to try to fix the problem for us. Though I understand that it was never their intention to lose the order, we feel like they could’ve handled it better and acknowledged that it was a lose situation for us too since they day we were supposed to pick up the cake was the same day of the event so we didn’t have time to come up with any other plan (we found out they lost our order when we went in and pick up at the time and date they told us to). The birthday girl was really hurt and so were our friends that was trying to give her the perfect birthday. The service was just horrible.

I couldn't recommend Pollman's more if I tried! They made both the wedding and groom's cakes for our wedding, and both were incredible! Not only were the cakes beautiful but they tasted amazing as well! Michelle is so friendly and easy to work with, and made this process so easy!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed a cake order with this bakery well in advance for a special occasion, paid in full, and even confirmed everything over the phone with an employee. I showed up on the day of the event, invoice in hand, only to be told they had no record of my order. No cake. No apology that felt remotely sincere. Just blank stares and a weak “we’re not sure what happened.” To make things worse, they took nearly TWO WEEKS to process a refund for something I had paid for upfront. So not only did they ruin the event by failing to provide the cake, but they also held onto my money and left me $75 in the hole for an order I didn’t even receive. This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. If you’re counting on them for anything important—especially a cake for a time-sensitive event—go somewhere else. You’ll save yourself stress, disappointment, and a whole lot of frustration.

Ordered my 18th birthday cake from Pollman’s. OH MY GOSH!! It was the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen! It looks absolutely identical to the reference photo, and it tasted just as good as it looked! The cake was so moist and flavorful, even for a classic birthday cake flavor. The lady that helped us was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back next year! Fantastic.
